Romonet is a privately held business managed by a team who's collective experience in the data centre and ICT sector is both broad and deep.
Most of our management team are active within their fields of expertise regularly getting directly involved in delivering solutions and consulting.
Romonet's co-founders also undertake a significant amount of advisory work in both formal and informal engagements with regulatory and policy setting bodies in the EU and USA.

Rick has over 30 years experience in the high tech electronics industry, mostly with Intel Corporation. Rick’s long tenure at Intel included two international assignments in the US; his roles have included Director of Enterprise Platforms, UK and Ireland Managing Director and a European Board role as EMEA Marketing Director. Rick is passionate about delivering business value to customers and ensuring we remain laser focused on our goals. As chairman, Rick’s primary role is to shape and guide Romonet’s business strategy and maintain focus on business priorities. |

Zahl is a co-founder of Romonet and is passionate about the data centre and ICT industry. Having started his career as a chartered electrical engineer, moved into software development and finally became a chartered IT professional, Zahl has gained over sixteen years of experience in a wide variety of roles in both start-up and enterprise businesses.
Today Zahl enjoys international recognition within the data centre community due to his role as founder and chairman of the BCS Data Centre Specialist Group, chairman of the judging panel for DataCenterDynamics Annual Awards, consultant to the EU Code of Conduct for data centres and regular keynote presentations at industry events around the world. |

Recognised as a thought leader in the data centre arena, Liam readily challenges convention to stimulate debate and collaboration to drive innovation. Liam has been a leading industry contributor to the European Commission’s European Code of Conduct for Data Centres (launched 19th Nov 2008), and currently chairs the Best Practice Working Group. Liam is a co-founder of Romonet and enjoys tackling complex technical issues whilst placing strong emphasis on business drivers, cost and technology performance. With strong end-to-end product development process and lifecycle design experience, he has proven ability to define and create business aligned technical solutions. |

James brings over 30 years of business management experience spanning a diverse set of industry sectors from international shipping and transport through to the construction industry. His expertise lies in prudent planning advice to businesses intent on building core strength through careful financial management. Focusing on cross-border and multi-disciplinary financial issues for companies doing business in an international environment, he has advised businesses ranging from small startups through to large multi-national enterprises. |

The predominant themes throughout Sean's career to date have been innovation within the telecoms sector with company's such as STC and Nortel. Sean's name is on a number of patents and Design Council Awards from that period. After many years of subsequent consulting experience at Arthur D. Little and Cambridge Consultants, Sean now leads Romonet's consulting practice as well as getting directly involved in programme management and guidance with some of our larger clients. |

John has driven innovation and business success with Cable & Wireless, Exodus Communications, Telstra International and others by consistently pushing the boundaries to deliver complex solutions and services in a sustainable cost-effective manner. |

Anthony Schaller is a seasoned executive in leading technology and product development with over 25 years of exeperience encompassing distributed systems, databases, transaction processing, digital media and numerous search technologies. At Yahoo he was in charge of implementing an overall technology stratedy for advertising systems, affiliate channels and technology. Other organizations with whom he has held key development and engineering management positions include Nokia, Rioport, Ticketmaster-Citysearch, Electric Classifieds/Match.com, Business Objects, MDL Information Systems, Ingres and Carnegie-Mellon University. He has authored numerous presentations and papers on subjects ranging from Heterogeneous Search Technology to cross-platform advertising to distributed databases. |

His profile includes in-house legal advice to companies in the fields of engineering, data storage, construction, and the marine industry. He enjoys bringing sound, workable solutions to bear on commercial problems, empowering businesses to achieve their objectives. He regularly speaks at events on contemporary legal and commercial issues, and advises in peer-to-peer networks. |
